New Sweater

Gumby was in need of a little something to brighten his day. The result was a evening of design and knitting for a new sweater! Saint Valentine's Colorway by Lisa Souza in Sock! Size 1 double points 16 stitches at neck, and 18 at the bottom. Sleeves are 9 stitches round. Yeah, you have to love a sweater project when you see it being worn. Sheep are from Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival. Pokey's blanket has shoulder (or is that back, withers?) shaping.

Oh, Barb, I love your Gumby sweater! I haven't seen a Gumby or Pokey in years - that really brings back memories!

Those are fabulous, Barb. I know that they were both quite chilly in this little cold snap that just passed. Love the shaping on the blanket! :-)

Oh man, this is hilarious! You need to knit an entire ensemble them - cruisewear, ski togs (Fair Isle or cables required), party attire... And then you could publish a book of patterns! Barb! You're gonna be RICH!!
